is to be an inviting, self-sustaining model community that embraces all aspects of the Anishinaabe culture and traditions with an emphasis on environmental stewardship.

The following is an overview of just some of the strategic outcomes we are working to achieve through Wasaw Enterprises:

A Stronger Foundation of community-based development to diversify the economy and allow the community to afford its existing recreation and infrastructure and services in Couchiching First Nation.

Capturing Opportunity through a balanced and structured approach to information gathering, due diligence, market/feasibility studies and partnership development.

Business Decisions in Business Time through a corporate-political leadership relationship structured within and outside the corporations to ensure accountability and transparency when investing capital, creating financial obligations and creating revenue on behalf of Couchiching First Nation.

Strong Investment Decisions based on qualified and expert feasibility and market studies rather than “wants” of community leadership.
